Micro Office Huddle – 14.12.21
This week we had our final Huddle before Christmas and Cameron-Rose Neal (me!) led the Technology Spotlight on Microsoft Forms. Micro Office Huddle was created to be a networking group with a difference. Instead of just connecting people to one another, we work to connect those people to technology. It’s completely free and each week a new volunteer has the chance to share something that they’re passionate about with the group. After discussing Microsoft Forms, there was time for the 404 roundup where members can share an area of technology that they’re struggling with and we had another short discussion.
I led this week’s Technology Spotlight on Microsoft Forms, which you can read more about in our Advent blog! Microsoft Forms is an online survey creator and is part of the suite of applications included in Office 365. With Forms, users are able to create surveys and quizzes quickly and easily! Create questions in a couple of clicks, customise your form to your style, and see your results as they come in with Forms.
Every week, after the Technology Spotlight, there’s time for all members to ask any questions. They’re also able to share a technology-related problem or just something that they’ve recently discovered but found exciting!
Coming Up / More Information
The next Huddle is scheduled to run on in the new year on the 11th of January 2022. Make sure to book your place for next week’s Huddle and join our Facebook group to stay up to date!
We hope to see you there!
In the announcements on our Facebook group, we’ve set up a poll full of Technology Spotlight ideas! So, please feel free to add in anything else that you would like to learn some more about (or volunteer to run yourself!) and make sure to vote! We are prioritising topics based on what people would most like to see.
