Micro Office Huddle – 11.01.22
Micro Office Huddle is a free networking group created by D365 Life Without Code. Every Tuesday, we come together to discuss and celebrate all things technology! Members are able to meet, learn new skills and software and volunteer to share their knowledge with the group. Here, we don’t just connect people with one another, but showcase some of the amazing talents and skills of those in attendance. This week, our Content Producer Cameo-Rose Neal led the technology spotlight on Procreate—an application for iDevices that she uses for digital art.
Technology Spotlight
Procreate is an application available on Apple devices (such as iPad) that can be used to create digital artwork. It is a raster graphics editor which comes equipped with over 200 hand-crafted ‘brushes’, so you’re able to begin creating from the start. Packed with customisation options, you’re able to personalise your experience a little more to create content with ease. From setting your own colour palettes to customising and designing your own ‘brushes’, Procreate can be adapted to you. In this Huddle session, Cameo covered some of the basic features Procreate offers and demonstrated how to quickly get going when in the app. We saw how to begin a new project, how to add and use layers, and even learnt some tips which can help further down the line.
404 Roundup
The 404 Roundup is the time where anyone in the Huddle can ask a question about an area of technology they’ve been struggling with, or share exciting new features they’ve recently discovered with the group. This Huddle, no one had any problems!
