Ohhh I’ve found a new component. So what were you doing this lovely Saturday Morning. I was working on our own intern Dynamics system which can take a back seat to customers work.

One of today’s tasks was to add in a Yes/No field for my opportunity. I built the filed as normal, added to the form and then went to add the component to convert it to a flip switch. But look what I found.

I thought I wanted a flip switch but the lure of a new button was too much. It became a toggle 🙂

As I selected the toggle it gave me lots of expectations and hope

On the form designer screen it looks no different to the flip switch

I saved and published as normal and jumped into Dynamics and that is where my excitement stopped 🙁 It looked exactley the same as a toggle switch. The only difference is that the yes was blue rather than green.

What a let down, the toggle switch is the same as a flip switch (apart from colour)

Although I am disappointed it may be the same as when they introduced the arch knob etc, I stumbled across them the hour it was launched. It then took a day or so for the full features to work. I’m going to leave this here for the time being and see if / when it starts to behave like the screen shot shows.

If you are reading this please go and add it to a form – let me know how it works for you 🙂

Happy form design 🙂
